I can’t be the only one that feels overwhelmed by the sudden change in routine that September brings. We go from lazy summer days, visiting cottages, going on vacation and working from home. To very busy back to school and office routines. In this post I’m sharing my favourite beauty products that will make your life easier.
1 – Kiehl’s Beyond Screen UV Serum SPF 50
This is the best skincare product for busy mornings. Not only is it a broad spectrum SPF 50. It’s formulated with peptides and collagen to strengthen the skin as will as even out skin tone.
The texture is perfect! It’s a fluid serum like formula that melts right into the skin without leaving any white cast. It also sits perfectly under makeup. It’s super hydrating without feeling greasy at all.
I don’t need to use any other skincare products in the morning when I use this because it hydrates, nourishes and protects my skin all in one!
2- Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum Blush

3- Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize Cream Shadows
A cream shadow will be your best friend when it comes to looking fabulous in no time at all. I have been using these cream shadows on myself and in my professional makeup kit for years!
They are quick, easy, don’t smudge, budge and are my favourite one and done eye makeup products.
To use them apply to the centre of your lid blending left to right and you will have achieved the most beautiful everyday shadow look within seconds!
My top tip here is to start with a little product and add more if you want more intensity. You don’t want to overload your eyelid with product because this will make blending time consuming which we do not want.
4- Merit Beauty Perfecting Complexion Stick
This product is incredible! It works as a concealer and foundation in one.
The creamy texture blends into the skin effortlessly and seamlessly. It is super hydrating without out feeling greasy or heavy on the skin.
It provides medium to full coverage. Use it sparingly on areas that don’t need much coverage and add more to areas that need concealing 🙂
I also have to mention that the shade range is incredible. Their medium and deep tones are fantastic and I love that they have expanded the selection as the product has gained popularity.
5- NYX The Brow Glue
A tinted brow gel is a get me out the house in a hurry essential! I have sparse brows and for years I spent so much time filling them in. I am so grateful tinted eye brow gel was invented because my brows look fuller and groomed within one swipe.
As with all the products start with a little and build up to avoid overdoing it. I always remove any excess from the spoolie brush before running it through my brows and build up as necessary.
The Nyx Brow Glue is not only super easy to use it’s also available in different shades so you can pick one that works best with your brows. It’s not sticky and doesn’t flake at all throughout the day.
6- Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Travel Spray
This is one of my favourite life hacks. When I am rushing out the door I always forget to spritz in my favourite fragrance so I have started keeping a mini perfume pen in my purse.
