This smoothie is green, delicious, refreshing and my favourite smoothie for achieving glowing skin!
This smoothie is hands down the most refreshing smoothie I make. The pineapple and green apple give it the perfect amount of zing. While the creamy yoghurt balances it out perfectly. You have to try this smoothie immediately if you are in need of a refresh and pick me up. It’s the best green smoothie for glowing skin! Just thinking about it makes my skin glow.
As much as I love skincare, we also need to take care of ourselves from the inside. Because healthy inside equals glowing and radiant on the outside.
The Ingredients for my glowing skin smoothie:
As we age, we start to experience fine lines and wrinkles. However, pineapple can help our body regenerate healthy cells faster, giving our skin a radiant glow while minimizing the appearance of fine lines. It’s a rich source of antioxidants and vitamin C which boosts our immunity and keeps us energetic.
Pineapple also helps even out skin tone and texture concerns. It’s an anti-inflammatory which helps combat acne too.
Spinach is rich in vitamins A, C, and K – these work together to help enhance skins radiance, heal from scars, sun damage, and strengthen its natural barrier.
The peel of an apple is rich in vitamins and minerals. It contains polyphenols, an antioxidant that helps protects against ultraviolet radiation and leads to younger looking skin.
Apple peels are also rich in vitamin C, this prevents premature aging, and enhances skin glow. You know what they say an apple a day…
Probiotic or Greek yoghurt is rich in vitamins B2, B6 and B12, plus the probiotics help keep your colon healthy. A healthy gut means that our skin is able to flush out toxins giving us the healthy glow we deserve.
Bananas contain high levels of antioxidants and act as nature’s Botox, preventing fine lines and wrinkles from forming. Bananas are loaded with many nutrients like vitamin A, zinc, and manganese, which are anti-inflammatory.
